Wolf Alice London
While I was queuing I met some really nice people, which made queuing a lot less boring. Hundreds of glitter faced teenagers talked about how many times they’ve seen Wolf Alice while their eyes lit up with excitement and passion.
There were two support acts, the first one to play was Pretty Vicious if you haven’t heard of them, go check them out! They had the crowd jumping with raw guitar sounds and created a great atmosphere leaving you wanting more.
The second support was Abattoir Blues, who to be honest I can’t remember much of.
FINALLY a blue light illuminated the Forum and Wolf Alice walked on stage, kicking off with a new intro. Everyone was buzzing with excitement and happiness. As soon as they played the first note of Bros everyone was jumping around, hugging their mates, singing and screaming at the top of their lungs. Wolf Alice led the audience through a wide spectrum of emotions, from happiness and carelessness over anger to ‘sadness’. Due to an elbow infection Theo, bassist of the Londoner four-piece, was unable to play but the incredibly talented John Victor from Gengahr replaced him for all 4 nights in London and absolutely smashed it!
Simply brilliant and easily one of the best and most memorable nights of my life.
